Good Friday

Although Hubby had to work yesterdat we still managed a busy, but fun Good Friday.  In the afternoon we popped to Queen's Road and had a wander in and out of the charity & vintage shops.  The sun was blazing down and it really felt like Summer!  As we walked along we were showed with soft pink confetti from the stunning blossom trees...

I did spend a little pocket money on this beautiful Buttercup Carlton Ware pin-dish (I've wanted one for soooo long & it was a total bargain, yay)...

Then we had to pop to the DIY shop (yuk, it was so mad in there) for some paint & managed to get out alive, and Fosse Park for a bright Spring cardi for Mum.

Today I'm making Easter Birthday Cupcakes for Mum's birthday tomorrow, involving Cadbury's mini eggs & these cupcake cases & toppers that Mum chose.  Will post a photo when they're done :)  Fingers crossed we'll get some time in the garden as well today.

Have a very Happy Easter, whatever you're doing. x
